Where to find help?
On a daily basis we try to not think about it, and when a disaster happens, unfortunately we do not know where to get help. To the victims are not left without assistance, were established in our country's institutions whose tasks include assistance to victims.
The main institution providing the assistance to victims, is the Office of the Insurance Ombudsman. The most important and certainly leading in the previous and the new shape of the provisions of the Insurance Ombudsman competence resulting from the wording of art. Paragraph 90 c. 1 item 1, 1a, 1b of the Act and Article. 5 of the new regulations is: to represent the interests of policyholders, insured, beneficiaries or entitled from insurance contracts, members of pension funds and members of occupational pension schemes. The new law also provides that the Ombudsman to carry out its statutory responsibilities, in particular, cooperate with national and international consumer organizations and Ombudsman.
